Refund policy

At REYA, every saree is thoughtfully inspected for quality and craftsmanship before it leaves our studio. Each piece is made with care, and we ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
However, in the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or defective, we request you to write to us at reyasilks@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your order. Our team will guide you through the return process.
The decision to accept a return or exchange rests solely with the REYA team, based on the nature of the concern.

General Guidelines

● Once an order has been shipped, returns or exchanges will be accepted only if the product delivered is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
● Requests raised beyond 48 hours of delivery will not be eligible for review.
● Products returned must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all labels and tags intact.
● If your return request is approved, refunds or replacements will be processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
● The exchange facility is limited to one-time only per order. Multiple exchange requests for the same item will not be entertained.
● Products cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of mind or personal preference.

Colour Variation

● All product images are photographed under neutral lighting, and we make every effort to represent saree colours as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour may occur due to device display settings or screen temperature. Such differences will not be considered defects, and returns or exchanges cannot be accepted on this basis.

Natural Characteristics of Handwoven Sarees

Every REYA saree is handwoven, and with that comes the charm of small variations that reflect the artisan’s touch. These are not flaws, but marks of authenticity. Common weaving characteristics that are not considered defects include:

● Small knots or thread bumps where broken yarns are joined.
● Slight irregularities in the weave connecting the border and body.
● Slubs — small thread clusters or textured lines.
● Minute gaps or uneven lines in the saree body or motifs.
● Minor thread overlaps or colour blending in the pallu and body due to hand-dyeing and weaving techniques.

These subtle irregularities are inherent to handcrafted textiles and add to the uniqueness of your saree.

Accepted Defects

We will consider a product defective only if it meets any of the following criteria:

● A tear or hole with no interwoven thread longer than 20 mm.
● Incorrect saree length or missing blouse piece (if mentioned as included).
● Any confirmed damage not attributed to natural weaving variation.
